I live down there, right?

Hello all!

So it turns out I am one of the worst bloggers ever. I have been here for 3 weeks and have only posted once and no pictures! So here it goes!

I started classes but so far they have been kind of boring. Spanish class is at 9am Tuesdays and Thursdays, yuck! Especially since Wednesday is ladies night at a bar right down the street from my house that we found. Oh well. I am taking history of the church as well, but I am not sure that I will continue since it is remarkably simiilar to about 3 other classes I took at Colby and the professor, although really nice and knowledgable, talks to us as though we did not know a lick of Spanish. Also I am taking the required core course and so far it is going well.

I am going to the Amazon region next week, which is also Carnival! That means that I do not have classes the follwoing Monday and Tuesday! Ha!

So in other important news I lost one earring, but not the whole thing just the dangly part, but that meant that I could go out and buy two more, you know, one to replace the pair and one for the emotional damage for losing an earring. It is quite tramitising you know. I lost it when I was in a park in the city so there was no way I was going to find it.

Today, as it is Valentin's Day, we are having a party at our program director's house but before I am going to a misa (mass) with my host mom. It should be a new experience for me.
